Food Innovation and Packaging Center (FIN)

The Food Innovation and Packaging Center (FIPC) at Chiang Mai University was established on February 22, 2014, through a collaboration between Chiang Mai University and the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization). It serves as an academic unit within the university, acting as a central hub for food and packaging innovation services in Northern Thailand. The center collaborates with private sector partners through research initiatives and fosters cooperation with relevant government agencies and private organizations across the entire value chain—from upstream to downstream. Its mission is to enhance business strength and develop the potential of the food industry and related sectors, aligning with the university’s innovation strategy and the national research and development policies. As of June 9, 2024, the Food Innovation and Packaging Center will operate under the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University.
